I’m Kaylin, a passionate photographer who tells stories through the lens of her camera. What started as a childhood dream of becoming a writer quickly transformed when she discovered her true calling behind the camera. For the past nine years, Kaylin has immersed herself in the world of photography, falling deeper in love with it every day. She specializes in capturing weddings, documenting hardship and truth around the city as well as allowing for creative moments. When she’s not capturing moments, you can find her indulging in her love of binge-worthy TV shows (Parks & Rec is a favorite!), savoring a slice of chocolate cake, or hiking through the outdoors. Known for her lighthearted nature, she’s always ready with a dad joke to brighten your day. She absolutely loves capturing and documenting raw, genuine moments, as well as the creativity that comes with shooting portraits. She’s always honored to help tell stories through her lens and create something truly special.

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
As a portrait, documentary, and wedding photographer, my work is rooted in the belief that true beauty lies in authenticity. I am deeply inspired by the unfiltered moments—the real love, the snorty laughs, and the toothy smiles that make each story unique. My approach is to capture people in their truest form, documenting the fleeting and raw moments that define who they are, whether it’s during a wedding day or simply living their lives in the city. I focus on the subtleties that make each person’s story special—the quiet glance between two people, the spontaneous laughter shared with friends, or the quiet moments that speak volumes. My aim is not only to preserve these genuine moments but to ensure that everyone looks beautiful in the process. Every photograph tells a story that is both stunning and real, capturing the essence of each moment with creativity, heart, and a touch of magic. Through my work, I strive to document life as it unfolds around me—from everyday moments happening on the streets of the city to bringing a vision to life and tell a story during a portrait session. My goal is to create images that allow people to relive their most cherished memories, and to make those moments timeless.
