Sent to the concentration camp at Mauthausen, after fighting on the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War, photographer Francesc Boix was assigned to the camp’s photography laboratory. There, he succeeds in hiding away images that would expose to the world the atrocities perpetrated there by the Nazi regime. The photographs that Boix was able to take away with the help of his countrymen at the camp were fundamental in charging the Nazi High Command at the Nuremberg trials in 1946. Boix was
