Glimpses of Eternity: Pendulum Photography Project

Deborah Keller-Rihn has been taking photographs of San Antonio for the last year responding to her hometown as if she were a tourist. All of photographs are layered using the blending modes in Photoshop to create ethereal images suggesting a deeper reality. The artist has photographed people and places significant to her letting her intuitive self guide her choices. These images have been strung together and set to ambient music to create a film which is to be projected upon a wave pendulum sculpture. The wave pendulum sculpture features orbs that move in a rhythmic pattern starting out as an apparently random sequence that in time becomes an  serpentine pattern suggesting that the apparently chaotic world is actually orderly and governed by laws and principles.
