Kingceañera! With Los MENtirosos Drag Kings & Zombie Bazaar Panza Fusion!

Another event at the Esperanza in celebration of Pride Month, from the mind of Artistic Director and Choreographer, Giomara Bazaldua. Los MENtirosos is San Antonioo’s Premiere All Latine Drag King Troupe.

Kingceaeñera is an all drag revue of the quinceaeñera from the tio and tia perspective. Kingceaeñera is narrated by playwright Gacho Marx, a local quince DJ, who introduces the audience to his favorite tios and tias personas. The coolest tios, tias and some primos perform solos, group numbers, a traditional baile sorpresa, and deliver personal monologues of their favorite familia, all while dressed to the nines for this special night.
