Puccini's Tosca

Opera San Antonio presents Puccini’s great opera, "Tosca," a tragedy of a great actress who has “lived for art.” Because of her love for the young artist and revolutionary Cavaradossi, she falls victim to the evil machinations of Scarpia, head of the secret police. The production, using sets from the Seattle Opera, is directed by the distinguished young director E Loren Meeker, who previously directed The Barber of Seville and  La Boheme for OPERA San Antonio in the Tobin Center.
