Skin of My Father: New Works by Tiffany Moreno

“Skin of My Father” is a new series of paintings by San Antonio artist Tiffany Moreno. This work explores themes of family culture, identity, and nostalgia. Inspired by childhood memories, Moreno’s paintings reflect the influence of her father’s pride in the family name and history. Moreno uses mark-making and stylistic references to express an honest appreciation for her upbringing in rural Texas.

Soft opening: January 4, 7-10 pm; First Friday: January 5, 7-11 pm; Closing Reception: January 18, 7-9 pm.  Carbon Bloom Studio & Gallery space is located in The Upstairs Studios at the Blue Star Arts Complex.

This exhibition is funded by a 2023 Individual Artist Grant from the City of San Antonio.
