Experienced musicians are preferred but anyone willing to become a member of San Antonio’s renowned drum ensemble is very welcome to these sessions.
URBAN-15 is preparing for an exciting season of stage, festival, and special event productions in 2022-23. Performances offer a range of percussion styles from Afro-Latin, Brazilian, Caribbean and African traditions and instruments. OPEN CALL sessions are scheduled for 2 p.m. on May 8th, June 12th, July 10th and August 14th. Drummers are asked to bring their own pair of drumsticks and parade mallets while instruments will be provided.
