In the Eye of the Beholder Art Gallery

About Our Gallery

In The Eye of the Beholder is currently the only Black art gallery in San Antonio, Texas. We host exhibitions monthly that feature a new artist every second Saturday.

Located on the east side near Fort Sam, the gallery exists to provide a platform for established, emerging, and aspiring artists from around the world to display, express, preserve, and promote their work to a broader audience.

We recognize the vast expressions and experiences throughout the Black diaspora. These expressions and experiences are explored by our artists through various mediums, including but not limited to, visual art, digital media, dance, theatrics, literature, poetry, and fashion. We aim to serve as a special platform for Black creatives of all different backgrounds and artistic voices to have their work shown and celebrated no matter its content.
