2023 Official City of San Antonio Fiesta Medal Giveaways

In celebration of Fiesta San Antonio, the Department of Arts & Culture has released the Official City of San Antonio 2023 Fiesta Medal, which commemorates the new public art installation “The Spirit Within” by collaborative artists Ashleigh Garza and Hailey Marmolejo in coordination with San Anto Cultural Arts.
These 3 limited-edition medals will be available for free on a first come, first serve basis, one per person.

More about the artwork that inspired the medals:
“The Spirit Within” is a 155’-long community-based mural produced by San Anto Cultural Arts lead artists Ashleigh Valentine Garza and Hailey Marmolejo. Currently being installed on the north-facing wall of the Historic Market Square Farmers Market building, the mural features a fantastical landscape highlighting the impact of women and their work at Market Square, along with its vibrant multicultural history.
