The curriculum for the intermediate to advanced folklorico class, recommended for ages 12 and up with previous dance training and ages 16 and up with no previous dance training, is a comprehensive and inspiring program that caters to both experienced dancers and newcomers to the art form. Experienced dancers are challenged with more complex choreography, intricate foot patterns, and expressive arm movements from different regions of Mexico, while beginners are guided through the foundational steps and movements of folklorico, gradually building their skillset.
